Our research is quantitative in nature, based in fundamental ecology and ecological theory, and conducted to address the needs of wildlife managers and conservation practitioners. We strive to make a lasting impact on the field of wildlife ecology and management by:

  • Asking scientific questions and developing study designs that uncover exciting aspects of wildlife ecology, while providing reliable knowledge that practitioners can use to manage and conserve wildlife and their habitat;
  • Broadly communicating these findings to researchers, managers, policy makers, and the public; and
  • Training leaders in our field.
