Our research is quantitative in nature, based in fundamental ecology and ecological theory, and conducted to address the needs of wildlife managers and conservation practitioners. We strive to make a lasting impact on the field of wildlife ecology and management by:
- Asking scientific questions and developing study designs that uncover exciting aspects of basic wildlife ecology, while providing reliable knowledge that practitioners can use to manage and conserve wildlife and their habitat;
- Broadly communicating these findings to researchers, managers, policy makers, and the public; and
- Training leaders in our field.
